Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Send Edition LLC ("we", "us" or "our") handles your information when you use BuildDaily, a product operated by Send Edition LLC. It covers builddaily.app, hub.builddaily.app and the BuildDaily tools: Multiplier, Calendar, Stitch, Studio and Comment Converter (together, the "Services"). Questions? Email support@builddaily.app.

Summary

• We collect your account details when you sign up, payment confirmation when you subscribe to a paid plan, the videos you upload, and the data you let us access when you connect TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram.
• Original uploads are discarded after processing, typically within minutes.
• We don't train AI on your content, we don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
• You can access, export or delete your data at any time.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Email contacts: your email address and name if you join our email list, and whether you've opted in to marketing emails.
• Account: your name, email address and sign-in details. Sign-in is handled by Clerk. We don't store your password.
• Videos and media: the videos and clips you upload to Multiplier, Stitch and Studio, Studio recordings and transcripts, and any captions or edits you make.
• Voice samples: the sample replies you add to the Comment Converter voice library.
• Payments: Stripe processes payments for paid plans. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details, and your full card number stays with Stripe.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.

Information from connected platforms

• TikTok: when you connect TikTok, we receive your TikTok user ID, display name and a token that lets Calendar publish the videos and photo carousels you schedule. We send TikTok the content and caption you chose, at the time you chose. We don't access your TikTok messages, followers or watch history.
• YouTube, Facebook and Instagram: when you connect these for Comment Converter, we receive your account ID and name, a token, and the public comments on your posts so we can rank them and draft replies. Publishing replies and posting to these platforms is coming soon, and we'll only publish a reply when you click.

We don't connect to X, Threads or LinkedIn. Multiplier's X and Threads output is copy you post yourself.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: which features you use and whether processing jobs succeed, so we can fix problems.
• Device data: IP address, browser and operating system, in server logs.

2. How we use your information

• To run the Services: transcribe and process your videos, generate captions, hooks, copy and reply drafts, render outputs, and publish to TikTok when you schedule a post.
• To send you account emails, such as sign-in codes, billing notices and important service updates, and marketing emails if you've opted in.
• To keep the Services secure and prevent abuse.
• To improve the Services using aggregate usage.
• To comply with the law.

We don't train AI models on your content, we don't sell your data, and we don't show your videos publicly without your permission.

3. Legal bases (EU and UK)

We process your information to perform our contract with you, with your consent (marketing emails, and connecting a platform, which you can withdraw at any time), for our legitimate interests (security and improvement), and to meet legal obligations.

4. Service providers

• Clerk: account sign-up and sign-in, including the verification codes and sign-in links it emails you.
• Bunny.net: stores and delivers your generated content and, briefly, your original uploads.
• OpenAI: generates captions, hooks, copy and reply drafts from your transcripts and comments. OpenAI doesn't use API inputs to train its models.
• Brevo: stores our email contact list and sends marketing emails to people who opt in.
• Stripe: processes payments for paid plans and may email you payment receipts and billing notices.
• Hetzner (EU): hosts our servers.
• Sentry: may be used for error monitoring. It captures errors only and strips user info, cookies, request bodies, query strings and IP addresses.
• TikTok, Google (YouTube) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram): when you connect them, as described above.

Our use of data from TikTok follows the TikTok Developer Terms, and our use of data from YouTube API Services follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube users can also review the Google Privacy Policy and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies set by Clerk to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage for preferences. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel.

6. How long we keep data

• Original uploads: discarded after processing, typically within minutes.
• Generated content and transcripts: until you delete the project or your account.
• Account information: until you delete your account.
• Platform tokens: until you disconnect the platform or delete your account, then revoked.
• Comments pulled into Comment Converter: until you disconnect the platform or delete your account.
• Marketing email preferences: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Email support@builddaily.app. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Deleting your account and data

Email support@builddaily.app from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us which connected platforms to disconnect, or say "all". We'll delete your account, generated content, platform tokens and pulled comments, revoke our platform access, and confirm within 30 days. Our Data Deletion page explains the same steps. You can also revoke access directly in TikTok, Google or Meta settings.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store platform tokens securely, and limit who can access personal information. No method is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Services aren't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

11. International transfers

Our servers are in the EU. Some providers, such as OpenAI, Clerk and Stripe, process data in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard safeguards such as the providers' data processing terms.

12. United States residents

We don't sell or share your personal information as defined by California law. California residents can use the rights in section 7.

13. Changes

We'll update this policy when our practices change and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
